CONGRESS ABOUT FOREIGN UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

On the occasion of the International Day of Children and Adolescents Rights of , the Research Center on Intercultural Relations of the Università Cattolica organizes a congress about FOREIGN UNACCOMPANIED MINORS, which collects interventions and testimonies on the protection of migrant minors, who have arrived to Italy alone, in light of Law 47/2017 . Senator Sandra Zampa, the first signatory of the Law, will hold a speech.


ASYLUM SEEKERS BECOME VOLUNTEERS

Delivering groceries to elderly people who live alone, restoring furniture so that it can be given to the poor ones, collaborating with a music therapy project... The Caritas of Rovigo has been enriching  this initiative for two years together with the CSV with good results!

ASSISTED RESILIENCE - GOOD NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES OF UNACCOMPANIED MINORS RECEPTION

On the occasion of the first training session of "Tutors of Resilience", Bice - Bureau Catholique de l'Enfance - the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the Caritas of Rome, invite you to take part to this interesting workshop.

Recent studies on resilience seek to identify the conditions that allow people to return to life after suffering or traumas. Consequently, at a practical level, the "resilience" approach has led to the development of educational and psychosocial support methods which are useful to prevent or reduce the risk impact of those who live in serious adversity or social precariousness.

This workshop aims at further discussing the "assisted resilience" and, in particular, at disseminating the results obtained through researches and practices related to the way in which we take care of those unaccompanied minors who more and more frequently arrive to Europe, following to wars, poverty or forced migration.

PILOT PROJECTS FOR THE INCLUSION OF ASYLUM SEEKERS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TURIN AND MILAN

Two pilot projects that have trained 311 course participants from January 2017 so far. This Randstad initiative, held in partnership with the Municipalities of Milan and Turin ,was conceived to promote the social inclusion of applicants and holders of international protection or long-term residents. The attention paid to the work orientation process and the involvement of foreign minors' parents is of particular interest in order to increase the reference figures awareness as far as training and career guidance are concerned.

SPECIALIZATION IN RECEIVING REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND INTERNATIONAL PROTECTIVE HOLDERS

Advanced Training Course in Orvieto (TR)

 

It’s now possible to apply for the Advanced Training Course "Specialization in Receiving Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Holders of International Protection" which will start on October 19th, 2017 in Orvieto (TR). The professional qualification obtained is recognized by the national standards of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and the Ministry of University and Scientific Research. The course is organized by In Migrazione, Centro Studi Città di Foligno and Fondazione Centro Studi Città di Orvieto.
