The Research phase aims at gathering information and materials to help create an effective and sustainable model of skill evaluation. For this purpose, the project includes the analysis of literature and existing good practices in Italy and four other European countries: France, Germany, United Kingdom and Spain. These had been chosen as they all are particularly populous nations with significant and diversified experiences on the reception of asylum seekers.

The research abroad is carried out thanks to the active interventions of four different organizations and institutions engaged in the integration of migrants and asylum seekers - the so-called Participating foreign parties - that are:

Tür an Tür - Augsburg (DE)

IRiS – Institute for Research into Superdiversity, University of Birmingham - Birmingham (UK)

CEAR - Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado - Valencia (ES)

IRIV - Institut de Recherche et d'Information sur le Volontariat - Paris (FR)
